• HCI SPEAKER MEETINGS •
Held Every Month
Hosted by AA Groups
On the 3rd Saturday of each month at 7:30pm • First Congregational Church at Hodgson & J Streets, Eureka

(all are welcome)
Humboldt County Intergroup (HCI) sponsors a monthly speaker meeting which is hosted by various AA groups. Occasionally the Main Speaker is from out of the area. The AA meeting format provides for a 10-minute Service Speaker followed by the Main AA Speaker. Free coffee and refreshments are provided, and a prize drawing is held after the AA meeting. There is free AA literature, and the church facility is wheelchair accessible. Please come and join us in fellowship!

Funshop and Orientation 1:30 to 2:00*

(April, June and October at 540 Childs Avenue, Crescent City, Ca.)
*A Funshop is a mini-workshop/information session on a topic pertinent to AA. Funshops are held between the Officers Meeting at 1:00 and the regular District Business Meeting at 2:00, and are open to any AA member, as is the Business Meeting that follows. A New GSR Orientation may be held in addition to or in place of a Funshop.  If you are new, or just want to find out more, come and join us.  The atmosphere is casual, and questions are welcome. Come and join us!

Open Service Positions at District 15
None There are currently no open service positions at District 15.
Service positions are available from time to time.

- Other Open Service Positions -

Northern California Hospitals and Institutions Committee of Humboldt County
has a need for three facility coordinators. A Facility Coordinator coordinates the meeting secretaries who run the actual meetings, and serves as the AA contact person for the administrators of the facility. The sobriety requirement is three years. In addition, one year of H & I experience is required.
Facility coordiniators are needed for Crestwood Manor, Juvenile Hall and Sempervirens. If you are interested in one of these, or if you need more information, please call the number listed above for Hospitals & Institutions (H & I) Area 04.

Humboldt County Intergroup Answerinig Service - volunteers are needed for the answering service and to be on the 12th Step call list.  Minimum requirements are One year Sobriety, and completion of the 12 Steps.  Ask your sponsor if this kind of service is right for you.  If you are interested, please call 442-0711 and ask to speak to the answering service chair
